Again, Genevieve does not disappoint with her writing style. It's gorgeous. She has a way of packing you up and taking you to the settings in the book. She also has the power to make you feel what the characters are feeling.
Full ReviewWith a rich flair of history and a great deal of romance, readers will once again fall in love with Genevieve Graham's second novel, Sound of The Heart.
Full ReviewSound Of The Heart is a novel that will enchant you and sweep you off your feet! I loved how fast-paced and adventurous it was. The story flows effortlessly and doesn't let you catch your breath. The romance, too, is spine-tingling and sweet as honey
Full ReviewI can’t wait to read more from Genevieve Graham! If you like romance at all you should give Sound of the heart a try. It satisfied me from beginning to end.
Full ReviewThe struggles and losses these two characters have to deal with is a recipe for an amazing read. I definitely recommend this novel to adult readers
Full ReviewI actually think the only downfall of this novel was that is could have been longer. A lot of time is covered in this book and a few events just barely glanced over. It never felt long and I was disappointed when it ended.
Full ReviewWe enjoy amazing highs and terrible lows. There is no emotional stone left unturned as the reader moves from page 1 to page 310.
Full ReviewIt's a great book to cuddle up with and read in your favourite spot. Hopefully it will enthrall you like it did me

Full ReviewGlenna and Dougal are passionate, enchanting, lovely characters that more than deserved their happily ever after. Every obstacle, every disappointment, every twist and turn prepared me for a happily ever after that I will not soon forget.
Full ReviewGenevieve Graham does an amazing job writing an enriching and beautiful story without hampering it down with pages and pages of historical facts. Sound of the Heart is a heart-wrenching story of war and love. Graham pens her novel with great care.
Full ReviewThere are very few books, especially romance books, were I walk away feeling like I got a great love story and an even better history lesson. Genevieve Graham is on my list of my read authors and I can’t wait to see what she delivers next
Full ReviewThe plot will keep you moving- there isn't any boring riffraff here. Genevieve paints an extremely vivid picture, you're going to feel like you're there with the characters.
Full ReviewThis story is fantastic and wonderful, and it was such a thrill to read it.
Full ReviewOne of my favorite things about Graham’s books is the way she develops her characters. They are so real and filled with believable flaws in addition to all the usual heroic attributes most romance book characters are given.
Full ReviewSo many emotions are experienced while reading Sound of the Heart, but nothing can compare to the heart tugging feelings of loss and grief felt during some of the saddest parts of their story. The happiness that is also felt between these characters is one that will make you laugh and smile while sharing the joy of Dougal and Glenna. These two survive through so much, it will make you believe in soulmates and true love.
Full ReviewThis is an exhilarating colonial romance with some paranormal elements enhancing the plot. Fast-paced, readers will believe in the Sound Of The Heart as Glenna and Dougal believe their love will one day bring them together.
Full ReviewThe story has its dark portions but the romance and adventure aspects of the novel are awesome and not to be missed!
Full ReviewThis story is the whole package. From the beginning I was immersed in Dougal's struggle to keep the part of him that was being torn away. I loved the descriptive scenes. I fell under the spell of his heart of gold demeanor. Then by the time I reached the end I felt like it had come much too soon.
