Again, Genevieve does not disappoint with her writing style. It's gorgeous. She has a way of packing you up and taking you to the settings in the book. She also has the power to make you feel what the characters are feeling.

Sound Of The Heart is a novel that will enchant you and sweep you off your feet! I loved how fast-paced and adventurous it was. The story flows effortlessly and doesn't let you catch your breath. The romance, too, is spine-tingling and sweet as honey

I actually think the only downfall of this novel was that is could have been longer. A lot of time is covered in this book and a few events just barely glanced over. It never felt long and I was disappointed when it ended.

One of my favorite things about Graham’s books is the way she develops her characters. They are so real and filled with believable flaws in addition to all the usual heroic attributes most romance book characters are given.

So many emotions are experienced while reading Sound of the Heart, but nothing can compare to the heart tugging feelings of loss and grief felt during some of the saddest parts of their story. The happiness that is also felt between these characters is one that will make you laugh and smile while sharing the joy of Dougal and Glenna. These two survive through so much, it will make you believe in soulmates and true love.

This story is the whole package. From the beginning I was immersed in Dougal's struggle to keep the part of him that was being torn away. I loved the descriptive scenes. I fell under the spell of his heart of gold demeanor. Then by the time I reached the end I felt like it had come much too soon.
