HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A TICKED-OFF DRAGONâ¦A NEW NOVEL OF THE LIGHT DRAGONS FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHORThe First Dragon has Ysolde de Bouchier in his sights demanding that she right past wrongs. So, with the help of some familiar friends, Ysolde sets into motion an elaborate plan that will have repercussions throughout the mortal and immortal worlds. But when a member of her family is held hostage, no one is safe from the fire of her rage...
the plot is unnecessarily convoluted, and there are so very many characters involved, none of whom seem able to state bluntly what their take is on a given problem despite multiple conversations detailing the various story arcs...The story is fast-paced and occasionally absurd
Full Reviewthe addition of a glossary and dramatis personae make the complex dragon politics more palatable, though new readers will still be lost
Full ReviewAmid a spellbinding story of love, passion, hilarity, and joy a reader can’t help but be dragged along for the ride. Katie MacAlister’s Dragon series is infectious and laugh out loud funny!
Full ReviewThe book is light and fun to read, the characters are quirky and outlandish with a perfect balance to keep the book enjoyable.
Full Reviewit may perhaps do better as a library read because it's not off the charts amazing.
Full ReviewI loved that once again everyone finds a way to work together to find a way to fix things. Once again I was drawn into the wondrous world of this authors dragons and hated leaving once their story was told. I loved this visit and cannot wait for the next book to see just what new adventures lay in wait for these dragons.
Full ReviewThere are a lot of supporting characters to the point I think there were too many. It seems like every character that's been introduced since the start of the series is in this book and it felt overwhelming and unnecessary...I'm all for keeping things interesting with a subplot or two but like supporting characters, there's just too many.
