It's Arabelle's freshman year at James Madison Regional High School, and she's determined to make it a good one. She'll audition for the school play and soon be on her way to the stardom she knows is her destiny.

But Arabelle finds out that no freshman has ever been given a role in the school play. And to make matters worse, her guidance counselor insists that she volunteer at the Heavenly Rest Nursing Home to satisfy her community service requirement.

Despite having to navigate the popular seniors who give her a hard time and the eccentric residents of Heavenly Rest, Arabelle might just get the chance to prove herself.
