When civilizations achieve the building of the first starship, you should expect the brightest, the strongest, and the most determined people to get onboard, fly, explore and colonize new worlds. This is exactly what happened when our civilization has built its first starship, the Colonial, and sent it away in its first mission. This is not a book about the classic 'humans fighting aliens' across dry, empty landscapes. All my characters are peaceful, since Earth itself, four hundred years in the future, advanced away from entertainment out of ignorance and violence. This is a sweet and very interesting book that will certainly challenge your thinking along its bold, new ideas, warm up your heart with the individual life and feelings of every character, and invite you to explore new worlds, filled with intelligent, real-looking, and naturally-behaving beings, warm and clear landscapes, and bright colors and sounds. I did enjoy writing this book, and for me, it seems to have grown a life of its own. I did laugh and cry with my characters while writing it, and I do hope that you will enjoy reading it, it will touch your heart, and hold you captivated in its world along the pages. Enjoy it!
