oey Gallagher never thought of himself as a pitcher, but when he gets the emergency call, he becomes a hero by helping his team win a crucial game. His excitement is quickly tempered after the game, though, when his mother tells him they're going to have an exchange student from Nicaragua come stay with them. It turns out that Jesus is an all-star caliber baseball player who threatens to steal Joey's newfound stardom. But as the story unfolds, these two new 'brothers' come to appreciate one another for their differences.
