Synopsis

Comic industry giants Jeph Loeb (Batman: The Long Halloween) and Joe Kelly (X-Men), along with some of the hottest up-and-coming artists in the business, usher in a new generation of Superman excitement by taking the Man of Steel back to basics. As if Superman didn't have enough problems with dealing with the effects of the Brainiac 13 virus and a possible war with Atlantis, he's now got the extra headache of Lex Luthor running for the presidency! His arch-enemy is bent on attaining the greatest seat of power in the world...and for once he's doing it within the law. Can Superman stand in his way? Or will he soon be answerable to President Lex. Whatever happens, the world of Superman will never be the same!
