The big time, the bright lights and big money meet in 'Tess', the story of a young model whose impact is sensational as she aims for stardom.

Shrugging off beginner's nerves and trusting to beginner's luck, she takes her first steps which lead her from the chilly rooms of Chelsea to the warm villas of Tunisia; from the catwalks of Paris to the heat of Hollywood lights and the realms of control freaks and controversy.

Moving through a potent mix of glamour and glitz, photographers and fans, she finds herself face to face with remarkable characters who each present an opportunity but with different problems, and although Tess is extended to the full she does not fail to impress, and takes major steps forward, though she does have to suffer a setback. She also attracts powerful and controversial figures who try to control her, and although she resists their plans she plays dangerous games with them, and some unusual relationships spring up which become especially important when she looks toward films.

New and exciting prospects open up but she cannot foresee the amazing somersaults the new relationships will bring or the upheaval in her sex life, which is already somewhat riotous. Tess loves the adventurous escapade and it becomes to her like food and drink, but as she travels on her way she takes big risks which unnerve her friends, and they can only ask themselves... What next?
