Consisting of Daughter of the Blood, Heir to the Shadows, and Queen of the Darkness, this trilogy is not for the squeamish--there's plenty of incest, rape, torture, and child molestation to go around; an intricate but definitely dark fantasy.

I've read the Black Jewels Trilogy and enjoyed them immensely! I enjoyed them because the descriptions used let you form your own mental picture of the characters and their surroundings.
