Kenneth R. Thomas, D.Ed., is Professor Emeritus of Rehabilitation Psychology, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has published three books and numerous refereed journal articles and book chapters in a broad range of academic disciplines, including Rehabilitation Counseling, Rehabilitation Psychology, Professional Counseling, and Psychoanalysis. Dr. Thomas is a Past-President of the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association, a Fellow in three divisions of the American Psychological Association (Counseling Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Psychoanalysis), and a recipient of the James Garrett Award for a Distinguished Career in Rehabilitation Research. In 1998, he received the Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education.
