Synopsis

The first novel in this series, "Jack-Knifed" saw the introduction of Detective Chief Inspector Martin Phelps and his sidekick Detective Sergeant Matt Pryor, solving the horrendous murder of a young, gay man in Cardiff.
But it's all about teamwork and in this, the second book, we once again see the vital roles played by Alex Griffiths, heading up the SOC team and Professor Moore the brilliant, but eccentric forensic scientist.
This time they are faced with a naked body found in a local beauty spot.
Who is the woman and how does the discovery of her body unearth more murders?
A trip to France results in a shooting - but who is shot? Are the clues left by a dead man in Cardiff tantamount to his suicide note and will they stop the premature deaths at the Parkland Nursing Home?

About Wonny Lea

See more books from this Author
During a successful career as a nurse in the NHS the author reached the level where she was privileged to attend meetings in which scientists and doctors discussed advances in medical technology. This stimulated her interest in forensic medicine and coupled with her love of solving problems made the writing of a crime novel almost inevitable. With a husband, three children and five beautiful granddaughters life has left little time for writing but the author manages to fit it in between ferrying the girls to ballet exams and making last minute fancy dress costumes!Knowing and loving her Welsh heritage the author chose initially to use the city of Cardiff as the base for her novels.
