Synopsis

Phillip Frazer is a young burglar, a loser after being abandoned at birth and spending a lifetime in foster care. On his latest job he is caught, but the couple who grab him recognize him as the double of their teenage daughter Gemma, who is incarcerated in a mental hospital. In order to claim Gemma's inheritance, they need her to be present in three weeks time at the attorney's office. They hatch a plan for Phillip to become Gemma, a pupil at a strict, Catholic girl's school. He agrees, reluctantly, as it is the only alternative to jail. He is drawn more and more into being Gemma, but as his misgivings fade he is horrified to discover that he is even beginning to enjoy his new life as a pretty schoolgirl.
