Take the deepest, darkest of Koontz’s tales, mix in splashes of the humor of the Odd Thomas series, and viola! Frankenstein reborn!

I feel the characters just float around and there is no depth...I think Koontz has just introduced too many different characters...we just scrape the superficial story of all of them.
