When his colleague Kimberly disappears while on a research mission to Saudi Arabia, ex-FBI agent, Edward Fleming goes looking for her.

Almost immediately he is caught up in a dangerous game of bluff and double bluff as he discovers that not only has Kimberely been kidnapped but that she's also the prime suspect in a murder investigation.

As he attempts to find out the truth about his colleague's disappearance, Edward is drawn into a web of religious intrigue and misdirection and it soon becomes clear that if he wants to find Kimberly he must first find the legendary Book of Fatima.

Edward finds himself in a desperate race against the clock, the Saudi authorities, a rogue assassin and a shadowy underground organisation who will stop at nothing to secure the book for themselves.
