Synopsis

Rhyming text and energetic illustrations complete this hilarious adaptation of Aesop's "The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg"

A hungry emu eats what she thinks is some corn, and ends up laying a golden egg! Next, two scoundrels lock her up and try to make her lay some more. Soon something strange happens, and everyone involved learns that it doesn't pay to be greedy.
