After a tiff with her traveling companion, Drew Rosemoor follows a handsome man named Gabriel back to his home, a mysterious, uncharted island off the coast of Spain. Drew soon learns the island is full of not only forgotten people, but forgotten knowledge and the world is nothing like she once thought it was. She penetrates a series of underground tunnels beneath the family castle to unravel the mystery of a series of strange deaths and discovers the cause of the terrifying noises coming from the dungeon late at night. She must fight to save the island from the influence of the evil Prince Gregorio. Along the way, she learns important principles of esoteric science from a benevolent witch.
