Synopsis

The second
book of this sweeping saga romance opens with Caitlin in love with the beautiful
Italian Mario Ferraro, a Wall Street Banker turned Hotelier.  Will her fairy tale romance and marriage live
up to its initial promise or will her nagging doubts come back to haunt her?

Rebecca, now
a single mother with two small boys to support and a burgeoning business to
manage, is wrong-footed by the reappearance of her errant husband.  What does he want from her and can she resist
his charms?

Suzanne is
happily co-living in the Pimlico house with her father and two cats, the
redoubtable Zorro and Ziggy gifted to her by Rebecca.  Work however is beset with problems as she
faces the hostility of sub-ordinate who is out to discredit her.  Suzanne wins a war of attrition but her
adversary swears revenge.

Penny and
Charles' relationship goes from strength to strength as their family grows;
theirs is a model to be emulated by the others.
Penny longs for her friends to be as happy as she is herself but Charles
forbids her to interfere.  He is
tormented by the part he played in Dylan and Rebecca's disastrous
relationship.
