Synopsis

New York City police detective Paul Conner thought he could enjoy some well-deserved vacation time. Sun, sand, surf and spending time with the girl of his dreams. That is until his partner, detective Tommy Sorrento, calls with the bad news. A serial killer is on the loose and Paul’s been ordered back to New York to head up the investigation.
Set against the backdrop of the dark underbelly of New York City, The Green Man, tracks the hunt for a vicious killer that is butchering young women and displaying their bodies like goulish mannequins for the police to find. As elaborate as the crime scenes are, few clues are pointing towards a suspect. The few leads and hunches Paul and Tommy are able to come up with, set them on a path through the world of drug lords, street thugs and junkies. Each murder gets more brutal and a little bit closer to home until finally Paul finds himself on a collision course, heading straight for a final shocking confrontation with the killer that may cost him everything.
Along the way you’ll meet a cast of characters including Dr. Sol Bradger, a far too cheerful medical examiner with an unusual zeal for his “patients”, Wanda Soto, who runs a criminal empire left in her care by her imprisoned brother Manny, and Denny Sullivan, an Irish hood from Queens.
