There is a disturbing thread of misogyny throughout; Elayne, Princess Amaryllis [...] and even female unicorn Heartsease all spend most of their time imprisoned and answering to the men (there are no other women), and [...] she's mostly figurehead and aid. Don’t bother.
Full ReviewFrom learning to ride the unicorn to nearly being killed by several of the mythical creatures who inhabit Goloth, readers will find themselves wanting to continue reading to see what will happen to Elayne next.

Full ReviewA novel that in places can get a bit confusing as it flips back and forth but overall an exciting and captivating read and after reading this , Im definitely Team Unicorn :)
Full ReviewThe beginning was a bit heavy on the info-dumping.

Full ReviewThe plotting drew me along – whether you like unicorns or danger, it won’t matter.
Full ReviewThis fantasy has it all. A great division of the two different worlds. Mythical creatures. [...] A heroine who just doesn’t know what she’s capable of.
Full ReviewThis is a Young Adult Fantasy that moves along at a fast pace. The characters are well developed and likeable.
Full ReviewThe characters were very blah and followed their stereotypical roles. The writing was uninspiring and at times very awkward.
