Synopsis

Author William James Royce has enjoyed a successful career writing for both stage and screen. His first play as Writer/Director was the critically acclaimed romantic comedy, A Fine Romance. Royce served as Executive Story Editor for the hit NBC television series In the Heat of the Night starring Carroll O'Connor. His credits include Diagnosis: Murder starring Dick Van Dyke, Columbo starring Peter Falk and Murder, She Wrote starring Angela Lansbury. In 2004, Royce moved with his wife and two year-old daughter to Villa Page, a 200 year old home on the banks of the Dordogne River in a small village in South-West France. The mere thought of third grade homework in French brought them racing home in 2010. The family's attempt to leave Hollywood behind, explore a new culture, and experience a simpler way of life can be read in their forthcoming book, Bonjour Villa Page & Good-bye ~ A He Said/She Said Memoir.
