Synopsis

In 1804 Meriwether Lewis and William Clark made a famous trip to discover aa much as they could about the Louisiana Territory recently acquired by the United States under President Thomas Jefferson. Among other things, Jefferson required that Lewis and Clark keep detailed journals of their expedition.
