Brief outline of The Laird of Lochvinnie

Robin Kelly desperately needs a job so she travels to Scotland for a month's trial as chauffeur/assistant to the laird of Lochvinnie, expecting to find a frail elderly gentleman. Instead she finds Callum McNeil, young, eligible but blind and bitter and anticipating the arrival of a male assistant to help him run Lochvinnie Estate. Robin has spirit and tenacity but she also has a tragedy in her past which causes her to have nightmares and call out for her cousin Roger. Annette Alder, Roger's widow deliberately misleads Callum about Robin's relationship with her husband fuelling his frustration at being unable to see for himself. Leila Gunn is quick to offer him solace. She has always wanted to be Mistress of Lochvinnie Castle and will go to any lengths to get her way.
