Fifty-year-old Martin, slightly under average tall, falls in love with Christine of twenty-four, the character of a book he is writing following a mysterious urge. He chisels her with the best grace and virtues natyre endows an angel, just like Pygmalion did with his sculpture, Galatea. Believing a written story is always a true one in real life, the Albanian Martin leaves everything to set off with throbbing heart in quest of the Greek Christine in Santa Monica where he has set the story. She is there waiting for him without knowing, to love him divinely. Martin lives his book chapter by chapter under a burden of dilemmas for he knows the suspense end.
