Synopsis

You got problems? You think you got problems? Fuck off. Blue Bunger’s got problems.

The kid—well, he’s seventeen—cannot get it right. Goes to school, gets picked on: Cheap clothes, slouched shoulders, pudgy, short, skin so pockmarked with acne his face looks like one of those miniature pizza bagels his mom fixes him in the afternoon. Goes home, has to deal with Rev. Donald Hallsoat, the sanctimonious, fried chicken-scarfing preacher-turned-insurance salesman boinking Blue's mother. Goes anywhere else, and well, he's still the same, sad Blue Bunger, who's disregarded and disrespected—and that's when people bother to notice him at all.

And then Blue's friend O.J. finds a handgun, and everything changes.

Packed with action and humor from cover to cover, The Little Faggot Who Could is a stirring coming-of-age adventure about Blue Bunger, a boy becoming a man and learning to take control of his own life.
