Set on the beautiful Greek island of Kefalonia, this vivid family saga is lit with memorable characters: a man revisiting the haunting site of a childhood earthquake, and his American-born daughter who faces a decision that could change her life.

"If you liked Captain Corelli's Mandolin, you'll surely enjoy THE MAGIC IN THE RECEIVER ..."
-Maria Karamitsos, The Greek Star - Summer Book Review 2012
"Having been away from Kefalonia for about 5 months, THE MAGIC IN THE RECEIVER made me so, so painfully homesick. Not only is the book packed with powerful characters and captivating and intermingling story lines, but it bursts at the seams with the colors, scents and aromas of Kefalonia."
- Eleni Dimitratou,

"The Magic in the Receiver is a paradise retreat for the senses..."

"...a love story with poetic obsession."
