Once again we find ourselves in the presence of Angela, the heroine of the first book in this series. She has just celebrated her thirteenth birthday. As the story opens she is reflecting on her visits with Darvith, and wishing she could see her once again. Stavro, another important friend from the enchanted Realms, suddenly appears and extends an invitation to visit a 'Naming Day' Celebration, that is to take place in the Kingdom of Azoria. Angela is thrilled at the prospect of seeing Darvith again and accepts with great excitement. Although the thought of crossing the meadow by the pond as a tiny miniature of herself, caused her a momentary surge of panic, she was assured by Stavro that a special shielding given to all 'loyal' friends of Azoria, would protect her. If Stavro said she would be safe, she knew she would be. She trusted him completely. The events in this story will touch Angela in a very personal way when her mother, Sarah, unknowingly becomes involved with a visitor from an exotic land Angela has yet to visit. Many exciting and dangerous adventures will involve those closest to her heart.
