Synopsis

PILLOW BOOKS were sacred texts handed down from mother to daughter or given as gifts to newlyweds. These texts served as little instruction manuals for life, love, and intimacy.       "It's a collection of related stories," said Sunny. "They're all different, told from a different point of view about different things, about people doing things they shouldn't do, or not doing things they should do, and missing important opportunities."     "Have you read the whole thing?" asked Parker.
     "Many times," said Sunny.

THE PILLOW BOOK is a collection of related stories which span many genres, stories that build toward a powerful, profound overarching theme. A theme of Love. Dark, funny, and touching, it will educate, enlighten, and inspire.

A running commentary between the authors offers thoughts and insights on many of the individual tales, adding depth not only to the story but to the book overall, creating a feeling not of a collection of individual stories, but of cohesion, one which results in a powerful and affirming reading experience.
