Synopsis

Raves from readers of The Prophecies Trilogy:

"Dreams Unleashed begins brilliantly with a chase scene that rivals Tom Clancy’s best work."

"This modern day 1984 is just as riveting as Orwell’s novel, but if I had to choose, really choose, I’d take Hawley’s series over Orwell any day. Why? Not only has Hawley created a unique futuristic novel, but she’s also done much research into current events of our time, weaving them into her story and making it even scarier than 1984 ever was."

"Linda Hawley’s skill is right up there with the best adventure writers, and her books are important."

The Prophecies was originally published as three separate volumes called: Dreams Unleashed (book 1), Guardian of Time (book 2), and Wisdom Keepers (book 3). Because of the success of the series, the trilogy has been repackaged in this omnibus edition as The Prophecies Trilogy and includes all content from the original three books. The Prophecies Trilogy includes 193k words and 112 chapters. At the end of this book, there’s an added bonus—the first chapter of Reset, book one of The ReSociety Trilogy, which is the newest dystopian series written by the author.

Dreams Unleashed has been awarded the Grub Street Reads Endorsement.

Synopsis of The Prophecies Trilogy:

It’s the near future, and society is government controlled. Technology tracks everyone, and personal privacy does not exist. The hope for freedom lies in the operations of an underground organization, GOG, which fights against worldwide oppression. Their most powerful weapon is Ann Torgeson, a paranormally-gifted operative. When her powers release the seal of The Prophecies, she becomes a weapon against the government, which relentlessly pursues her.

The Prophecies series you're reading, or deciding whether you should read, was born just after the author survived a near-crash in a passenger jet. Thankfully, she lived to write this trilogy. Before Linda Hawley became a full-time author, she supported herself as a freelance writer. Her experiences working on diverse projects requiring significant research stretched and refined her composition skills. It also inspired her to become a novelist. You may be surprised to learn that most of the technologies, conditions, and places in her trilogy exist. It's the characters and their actions that are pure fiction. Writing The Prophecies as accurate faction (a literary work that is a mix of fact and fiction) requires significant in-depth research, but the author was aided by her many years in the US intelligence community. Her government service certainly aided the believability of this dystopian trilogy.Linda Hawley is hard at work on another dystopian trilogy, called The ReSociety.
