This story is a true story about my friend who adopted four newborn puppies that survived a cold January in Asbury Park, NJ. There was a total of nine puppies in the litter but only four survived. I love the story and hope to convey the message of determination, hope and faith to my children and other children reading the book. Determination that you can obtain anything you want. Hope to understand that something better is always waiting for you and faith in God that it will happen even though it might not seem it at the time.

I worked at AT&T for 23 years and retired in 2007. During that time, I met some very good friends. This story is about one of those friends who adopted four puppies that survived several cold winter nights. I wrote the story back in January 2000 and came across the notes again while going through the AT&T boxes last year. So, I decided to publish it. If you love puppies, you'll love this story.
