Juan Pablo Munoz originally from Barranquilla-Colombia, has been in the United States for eight years. He now lives in Naples, Florida. He holds an airline transport pilot license with single and multiengine land ratings, a commercial single engine sea, certified flight instructor license with instrument and multiengine ratings, a ground instructor basic, advanced, instrument and flight engineer license. He has logged more than 2,000 hours as a certified flight instructor. Juan also holds the highest federal communications commission general radiotelephone operators license with radar endorsement and a ham radio license with the call sign KC2FKM since 1999. He is involved in local aviation groups and he is also an aviation safety counselor for the Miami FSDO since 2001.   His books include: “The Quick Guide for You Private Pilot Certificate... Volume #1.” The guide is a user friendly guide for your private pilot certificate. By using this book in conjunction with The Quick Guide for Your Private Pilot Certificate Volume #1 and the FAA Practical Test Standards (PTS) and other aviation materials; the student or individual will become more prepared for the FAA practical and oral exams, and will make a better, safer and knowledgeable pilot.   Juan is now taking classes at the Utah Valley State College where he is soon to be finished with his associates degree in aviation science. He is an aircraft appraiser in the Naples, Florida area where he owns his own business. In his spare time Juan serves as a substitute teacher in the aviation department at the Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology. He is now working in obtaining his commercial balloon, glider, gyrocopter and helicopter ratings. He holds memberships in the Experimental Aircraft Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Seaplanes Pilots Association, Civil Air Patrol, National Association of Flight Instructors, Naples Pilots Association, Amateur Radio Relay League, National Society of Hispanic Professionals. He hopes that all of his books will foster safety through education.
