Synopsis

The beautiful blonde staying at his parents’ cabin held no allure for Cal Lindsey. The last thing he needed was a here-today-gone-tomorrow city-slicker complicating his quiet, orderly life. A game warden was supposed to be responsible, serious, and capable. It didn’t matter that she was friendly, funny, talented, gorgeous, lovely, radiant, and – did he mention – beautiful?
Christina Tyler had escaped to the north woods, desperate for time and space to think. As she is about to make the most important decision of her life, her path crosses Cal’s. He’s definitely the strong, silent type. So why does his presence make her decision all that much harder?
A desperate poacher, violence in a small town, and extraordinary cello music combine in the most unlikely of ways to test and twist their budding friendship. Will these circumstances conspire to pull them apart, or will their lives become entwined in ways they’d never imagined?
