This is an erotic historical fiction about the fantasies of an Algerian woman who is obsessed with Roman Empire history. To a lesser extent, she fantasizes also about a German aviator who died during World War II, and is buried in a military cemetery in Algiers. Her life in Algiers is perhaps a contributing factor to the violent daydreams she is overwhelmed by.
