Synopsis

A traditional Regency romance novella, chock full of humor, trouble, and the mysterious ways of the human heart.
At his first meeting with Miss Penelope Wright, Colonel John Corbett fell head over heels in love and immediately tripped himself up. After proposing a speedy marriage, he hustled home to his newly inherited estate and spent a month preparing it to welcome her. He is on his way back to London for the ceremony when he spots her gazing out the window of a public stagecoach, heading rapidly the other direction. Now he must chase down his bride, which proves to be easier said than done, and persuade her yet again to to become his wife. As Pen puts the colonel through his paces, he proves himself as gallant as the knights in shining armor she loves to read about.
