Having lost her lover, Ben Trawler, to Elsie Sandrow, Connie became furious when Elsie's minister refused to use his influence to break up the Sandrow/Trawler relationship, and she vowed to punish the Reverend David Chadscroft by seducing him and ruining his reputation in the church and community. However, she underestimated the priest's dedication to his vocation, but, being human and a bachelor, he could endure only so much... Pretending concern for Sandrow, Connie met with the minister repeatedly, detailing the sexual depravity that she "endured" with the lowlife, Ben Trawler. Enjoying glimpses of breast and white thigh above her garter belt that Connie "accidentally" revealed during these counseling sessions, along with the lurid stories she related in minute detail, she gradually wore down David's resistance until one day he could take no more.
