MICK MANGAN is Chair in Drama at University of Exeter, and has previously held Chairs at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and at De Montfort University, Leicester. His publications include: Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus (Penguin), Writers and their Work: Edward Bond (Northcote House/British Council) and Staging Masculinities: Gender, History, Performance (Palgrave Macmillan). He has worked as a playwright, a director, a literary manager, a dramaturg and an actor. He is a member of the RAE panel for Drama, Dance and Performing Arts.
