New Threat
After the three women battle Darkness Wielders, Paloma collapses and lies near death. Paz falls into a state of exhaustion and then panic, reliving select memories, some of which are not her own. All while Paciencia struggles to keep their transport from shaking itself apart so they can save Paloma's life.

Devastating Power
Out of nowhere, a mysterious and very volatile Lightbox emerges, pieces of which are scattered around Washington, DC. Separate, they could destroy cities. Together, the entire eastern seaboard. Who put them there, and why? Was it Paz's would-be kidnapper, in a ruse to put the Kirkegaards and company off the trail?

Or is someone else behind it?

More deceit
Paciencia is hiding something from Paz, and has altered a memory to do it. What's worse, Paz's parents are in on it. What could be so important that it's crucial it be hidden, enough to warrant violating Paz's mind?

Paz doesn't know, but it ticks her off, and there's nothing she can do about it. Except lie there and watch the events fast forwarding in her mind, hoping to make sense of them all before it's too late.

Too late to stop her would-be kidnapper from obtaining what they ultimately want.

Too late to prevent a devastating tragedy.

Too late to save her mother.

Or, Paz could just unleash the growing, ancient power within.

The Wise and the Mighty, the second installment in the Age of Restoration series, is now just 99¢.
