Synopsis

Contains two historical novellas. "the minorcans of florida" is about white slavery in florida during the 18th century. A wealthy and powerful british landowner promises 1,400 minorcans their own plot of land if they agree to a number of years as indentured servants working in his plantations in florida. The landowner breaks his promise, and the minorcans in effect become slaves. The story centers around a young minorcan, the girl he loves, and the dangers and hardships they must face.*** _x000d__x000d_taino is about the people that greeted columbus, and their lives before, during, and after the arrival of columbus. The story centers around migua, a young taino and his bride to be._x000d__x000d_both novellas are chock full of adventure, danger, suspense, and romance.
