When we moved to our new neighborhood, I had to promise my mother that I would not go near the strange old house on the corner.
People say it s haunted, she whispered.

Haunted? There is no such thing as ghosts!

But if there is...I am going to catch one!

Bold, three-color illustrations and silhouettes add an old-fashioned flair to this family-friendly ghost story. The reader/listener will be tempted to point out the side story in this engaging tale, but our hero, along with his trusty butterfly net, just does not seem to see what we see...which only adds to the fun!

She studied math and languages before switching to illustration, and published her first book in 2002. Today she lives in Nivelles, Belgium, but says she usually has her head in the clouds!

The big entry hall has winding staircases on both sides, on which are ranged more than a dozen frolicking little figures shaped like gumdrops, white with pink cheeks, which the boy can’t see (but readers surely will, complete with their cheery “Bienvenue” banner).
