Can first love turn into the real deal? Anything can happen in a sizzling new Fool's Gold story from New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery.
Isabel Beebe thinks she's cursed in the romance department. Her teenage crush, Ford Hendrix, ignored all her letters. Her husband left her for another…man. So Isabel has come home to dust off her passion for fashion and run the family bridal shop until her parents are ready to sell it. Then she'll pursue her real dreams. At least, that's the plan, until sexy, charming Ford returns and leaves her feeling fourteen all over again…..
Seeing Isabel all grown-up hits bodyguard trainer Ford like a sucker punch. Back when heartbreak made him join the military, her sweet letters kept him sane. Now he can't take his eyes—or his lips—off her. The man who gave up on love has a reason to stay in Fool's Gold forever—if three little words can convince Isabel to do the same.
About Susan Mallery
See more books from this AuthorI think that Susan Mallery is a talented storyteller, however Three Little Words was a miss for me. I needed more scenes between the leads, more tension or suspense, or more time with Consuelo and Kent. Sadly, none of those things happened so I would not recommend this read.

Read Full Review of Three Little Words (Fool's Gold)What works for this story is that both Ford and Isabel are so similar when it comes their past love lives. When Ford’s former best friend points out the truth to Ford I loved it.
Read Full Review of Three Little Words (Fool's Gold)I am never disappointed when I visit Fool’s Gold but this might be my favorite book of the series (and that is saying something) in a while. Maybe I was just like Isabel and had a crush on Ford even before he came back to town but having spent time with him I fell in love!

Read Full Review of Three Little Words (Fool's Gold)As much fun as the relationship between Isabel and Ford was, I would have been even happier if the book had focused on Kent and Consuelo.
Read Full Review of Three Little Words (Fool's Gold)Three Little Words is actually a two-for-one romance. Not only do you get to watch Ford and Isabel battle their growing feelings, but Ford's brother, a single dad, also finds himself falling head over heels for Ford's co-worker, a military woman with a rough background. This made it feel like you got a bonus!
Read Full Review of Three Little Words (Fool's Gold)I love these characters! Isabel is sweet and funny and confused and vulnerable, particularly after her divorce. Yet she has an essential optimism that I found endearing.

Read Full Review of Three Little Words (Fool's Gold)I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good romance novel - you don't need to have read the previous two books in the series to 'get it' but if you're like me and love a good continuity story, you'll want to start at the very beginning!
