Synopsis

An omnibus with the stories Thyme and Veronica from author Louisa Trent

THYME

While traveling through time at the Tower of London, medieval warlord Raven captures frustrated feminist Regina...with surprisingly satisfying results.

With a temper to match her flaming hair, an argumentative streak a mile wide, and a curvy, full-figured shape, Regina is a va-va-voom sexpot.

A lot of good it does her with men. Frustrated and hurting after a recent breakup with her apathetic boyfriend, she decides to shake up her boring life by vacationing solo in Europe. First stop: the Tower of London.

While minding her own business, doing the sightseeing routine, she's stalked, then captured by some man who actually thinks he's a medieval warrior from Norman times. After introducing himself as Lord Raven, he drags her to his castle bedchamber, where he strips her naked and ties her up.

Just her friggin' luck, the kinky abduction scenario really does it for her, and she falls for him hard. Until--he starts spouting a whole lot of crap about Time Travel. As soon as she unlocks her lips from his, she's so outta there...well, maybe.

VERONICA

Public scandal and private tragedy force sexually curious Veronica Cooper into an unwanted marriage with Talbot Bowdoin, an urbane and isolated gentleman inventor of steam-powered automatons about whom she knows nothing.

Talbot insists that it's kept that way. Though the eccentric publisher fell in love with the "free-love" author at first word and would give her the world gladly, he withholds the truth about himself. A voyeur of the first water, a bisexual by experience and a romantic by nature, he is more comfortable with his steam-powered automatons than he is with people, and so he keeps anyone with a beating heart at arm's length.

Not Veronica. Her heart pounds...with lust...and she refuses to tolerate her standoffish husband's conjugal neglect.

To satisfy his beautiful...and assertive...bride, Talbot touches another human being for the first time in years and allows her the sexual freedom she craves, including dressing in male attire as well as exposing her to steam-powered toys...and the gazes of other men.

Publisher's Note: The stories within this book contain explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, strong BDSM theme and elements (including/not limited to: domination/submission, spanking) dubious consent, exhibitionism, humiliation, tethering), voyeurism.

About Louisa Trent

Louisa Trent is happiest writing and so she writes all the time, even when the veggies are in need of peeling and the dust bunnies are in need of vacuuming. When she was far too young to contemplate anything as serious as marriage, she snatched up a boy with a sense of humor and led him straight to the altar. Somewhere along the way, she picked up a couple of academic degrees, which she uses every day, only not in the way she intended to use them. Blessed with three funny sons and a husband who still makes her giggle, she lives in a quaint New England town, in a messy home, surrounded by flowers and laughter.
