Margi, a high-powered Boston lawyer, is totally in love with Russ, her suave, stockbroker boyfriend. He’s everything she’s ever wanted in a man, except for the fact that he’s married. Not to worry, Margi, born with a silver spoon in her mouth, is accustomed to getting anything she wants. However, her plans are turned upside down when death visits the star crossed lovers on a weekend getaway to Maine. They end up in a new level of existence, and soon discover that they are forever joined together, not even being able to go into another room without each other. It soon becomes apparent that love and desire is not all it’s cracked up to be. Add to the equation Henry and Pat, the gay couple with whom they are forced to share a home. Margi and Pat become instant enemies, setting the stage for their desperate attempts to escape; leading them on a hilarious romp, where freedom always seems to be just around the corner.
