Abandoned bikes on sidewalks, running cars without drivers, boats without fisherman, toys without children—Peter Aristot and Amy Wielert encounter all of these on what starts as a routine play-date and ends up as a post-apocalyptic adventure through the 13th Universe.  Their guide on this cosmic quest is the only person left on Earth, the young Maxwell Frederick Axington III.  As the trio seeks to discover the whereabouts of humanity, they become tangled in a civil war between soulless Socalia and the few planets Socalia has not yet conquered.  What happens in the 13th Universe will not only reveal the reason for mankind’s disappearance; it will pit the remaining Earthlings against each other, decide the fate of the everything that is, and, perhaps most importantly, teach readers and characters alike the true meaning of Timshel.
