Paula Parisi lives in Los Angeles. She has been a reporter/editor for The Hollywood Reporter for 10 years, and a contributor to Wired and Entertainment Weekly. Paula Parisi began covering James Cameron for The Hollywood Reporter with The Abyss (1989). As a specialist in film technology reporting, she was fascinated by Cameron's techniques, and became his main trade media confidante. She reported on his Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and True Lies (1994). She followed Titanic since pre-production began, and made many visits to the principal movie set in Mexico.
