Too Much Magic takes place in a world where the realms of Heaven, Hell, the Hidden and Earth have merged and the magicals and the mundane live together under the Law. Pepper Paull is a good witch, the last of her family living a quiet studious life with her familiar, Whittlesbee, an owl, and library full of ancestral ghosts and books. whn her hunger for knowledge brings an ancient and perplexing book into Pepper's hands her life changes. The normal jobs of spellcrafting take a backseat when others show an interest in this book she has. it appears that everyone from Watchers to the Huntsmen from Hell know about it. Challenges and friendships begin to fill Pepper's life and, to Whittlesbee, the witch deals with the battles with more ease than she handles friendship. After all, the witch never made friends easily and a lawyer, a girl werewolf, a man with less magic than most humans and a Huntsman, don't seem her obvious choices. Still, when destiny takes a hand, don't make wishes...
