Guys get cocky when they think the world should bow down before them. Justin is one such guy, only Kat is going to teach him what it means to be a well behaved pet in Training Her Puppy, a 25,000 word novella.

Justin has just finished his classes for the summer and is eager to find a job so he can save some money for next semester. When he finds an online ad for a dog walker, he thinks this will be perfect. He has big plans for his life and finds the idea of a menial job pretty amusing. Besides, the pay looks really good, only he has no idea what’s in store.

Kat has both beauty and wealth, and now she’s decided to get herself a pet. Her tastes happen to be a bit more exotic, so she wants something more fun than the standard bird or goldfish. When Justin shows up for his interview, she decides he’s perfect. Arrogant and handsome, he’ll be her perfect puppy. He arrives for interview to walk her dog, only he has no idea that she intends to train him to be her new doggie. His ignorance prompts him to answer all of her questions. Kat quickly learns his friends are out of town for the summer, he doesn’t have a girlfriend, and his family lives far away. He’s perfect. No one will miss him while she trains him.

Like any good hostess, she offers him a drink. And like any good potential employee, he gladly accepts and drinks it all. The world quickly starts to spin, he gets dizzy, and he falls to his knees. The last thing Justin remembers is Kat pulling out a collar, wrapping it around his neck, and locking it in place.

When Justin wakes up, he is collared and naked, locked in a cage until his new owner comes back to start his lessons. He tries to defy her, but she rewards bad behavior with a sharp shock from his bark collar. Soon he’s forced to crawl at her feet, play fetch, and endure the humiliations that come with being Kat’s puppy. It gets harder and harder to resist his beautiful tormentor as she touches, teases, and pets him into submission.

It won’t be long before he thinks of himself as her pet.
