College student and part-time nanny Jenna doesn't care what her girlfriends think; she finds her awkward, nerdy boss David totally irresistible. She's been fantasizing about getting him out his khaki slacks and into her bed for months. Unfortunately, she doesn't want to lose her job as babysitter for his adorable son. When a freak snowstorm traps them in a secluded cabin for an entire weekend will she be able to resist her urges?
READ AN EXCERPT:
“Too bad there isn’t any firewood,” Jenna said.
David pursed his lips, looking around. His eyes fell upon the wooden table and chair set. They were dusty but they were still wood. He picked up one of the dust coated chairs and crashed it to the ground, shattering it.
“Whoa,” Jenna said.
“Instant firewood,” he explained as he tossed the broken pieces into the fireplace.
That had been incredibly hot and not the kind of strength she would have expected out of a video game geek. She pushed her lust-filled thoughts into the back of her mind and went in search of some paper. She found some old newspapers in the pantry. She blew the dust and spiders off of it before she nabbed them out.
“1995,” she said, reading the date as she walked back into the living room. She handed the newspaper to him. “I don’t think anyone has been here in a while.”
David set to work getting the fire lit. Jenna watched him intently, her eyes wandering down his body, taking in the way his jeans formed to his backside as he bent over. Even in the chill of the unheated cabin, Jenna felt her skin flush with warmth as she thought about what he must look like naked.
After about twenty minutes, the fire roared to life, instantly starting to warm up the frigid living room.
“Awesome job!” Jenna said, clapping him on the back.
“I have some blankets in the car. I’ll be right back.” He ran out and grabbed them and brought them back in. He laid them near the fireplace and sat down. Jenna sat down beside him, watching the flames lick the pieces of chair. She leaned back against him and he instinctively placed an arm around her. His touch made her shiver.
“Cold?” he asked, wrapping a blanket around her.
“Thanks,” she said, settling against him, allowing him to wrap his arms around her to keep her warm. She was pretty sure he wasn’t trying to warm her in the places that were starting to heat up.
“This is kind of nice,” Jenna said.
“Being stranded in a blizzard with no food?” he asked with a grin.
Jenna laughed. “I meant the cabin and the fireplace, but I guess in a way, yes. I’m not really hungry. And…” She looked over at him. “I kind of like spending time with you. This whole thing is kind of romantic.”
David’s grin slowly disappeared as he searched her face. “Romantic, huh?”
