Violet Burlison came from a very large family that included seven sisters and six brothers. She has been blessed with many nieces and nephews, and she adores them all. She also has seen the pain that some of them have gone through due to divorce and poverty. Violet started working when she was fifteen years old and has worked with many people that were going through painful situations. She has learned that most emotional pain can be avoided by looking at everything with “true eyes” and that we place a lot of unnecessary baggage on ourselves by not facing the truth of how things really are. Violet started five businesses, four of which failed. So she knows the pain of despair. But she also knows happiness so great that she could hardly contain herself. She has lived in Paragould, Arkansas, for twenty-four years with her husband, Harvey, who is still her best friend. She says she’s probably the happiest person you’ll ever meet.
