Synopsis

Zack Rawlins didn't become the youngest president of the Bandera County Cattlemen's Association by backing down from a challenge.  So when beautiful but hot-tempered sheepherder Bailey McShane barged into the cattlemen's saloon and accused them of stealing precious water from her land, he waded into the fray...and came out in a heap of trouble.  With drought-stricken Bandera County on the brink of a range war, no self-respecting cattleman would be caught dead
taking sides with a woman who raises sheep--but Zack can't stay away from this pint-size wildcat.  Now he's facing two dangerous battles: one with a town full
of stubborn ranchers at one another's throats; the other with an unpredictable woman who refuses to be tamed.

About Susan Krinard

See more books from this Author
Susan makes her home in New Mexico, the “Land of Enchantment,” with her husband, Serge, her dogs, Freya, Nahla and Cagney, and her cat, Jefferson. Susan’s interests include music (just about any kind), old movies, gardening and getting out into nature. She also bakes a mean chocolate cake. A writer, first for newspapers, then for national magazines, Theresa Meyers started her first novel in high school. In 2005 she was selected as one of eleven finalists in the nation for the American Title II contest, the American Idol of books. She is married to her high school prom date and their family lives in a Victorian house on a mini farm in the Pacific Northwest. Write to her at: P.O. Box 25, Port Orchard, WA, 98366, or by visiting her website at www.theresameyers.com. Linda Thomas-Sundstrom is award-winning author of paranormal romance novels for Harlequin's Nocturne imprint. Vampires, Werewolves and Spirits are prime fodder for this writer who swears she has "paranormal" in her genes, and is very careful every time a full moon comes around... just in case. Linda lives in the West, juggles teaching, writing, family, and caring for a big stretch of land that is also occupied by a resident Muse who sings loudly 24/7.
