If you have wanted to be involved with vampires and have felt out of place then this can be the book for you. I have recommended this to many of my family...I would love it if you loved it too because this series is great!

Synopsis

It was well loved by a family member, so it looks worn but all the pages are fine.

...Edward’s portrayal as monstrous tragic hero is overly Byronic, and Bella’s appeal is based on magic rather than character. Nonetheless, the portrayal of dangerous lovers hits the spot...

The main draw here is Bella's infatuation with outsider Edward, the sense of danger inherent in their love, and Edward's inner struggle...These will be familiar to nearly every teen, and will keep readers madly flipping the pages of Meyer's tantalizing debut.

Read this book for the laughs, and the oh-so-tender-Edward-strokes-Bella's-cheekbone moments. For the gags and the Edward-sparkles-like-a-big-shiny-diamond descriptions. Read it for Edward's snarls, I swear, they're worth it.

My rating for this book review of Twilight by author Stephenie Meyer is a 4 out of 5 stars. The reason it got only 4 stars from me was because of the confusing first person parts that had to be re-read.

A kind of Harry Potter meets Shakespeare, the book is a fine read with plenty of talking points that I’d better leave out of the review for fear of ruining the twists and turns for would-be readers of the book.

The book’s version of Bella and Edward reads to me like pairing lukewarm milk with a Red Savina pepper. My wishlist for this book is a mile long in terms of things I wished had been a little different, a little better...Either way, if this book makes people sunny and moony at the same time, more happiness to them.

No doubt about it, Meyer’s book is addictive, just about as irresistible to female readers as Bella’s blood is to Edward...Sure, the message sometimes seems a bit clunky and the books could be better examples of great literature, but the truth and goodness of the message are still admirable.

I mean just because Edward and Bella don't do anything but kiss and clutch, they still share the same bed night after night, all the while keeping her father in the dark. Some have told me, "It's completely innocent." How can that be true when Bella herself says she loses control everytime their lips touch?
