Born with a disability, Ramona Harvey started writing at a very young age. She completed her first short story when she was four years old. Unfortunately, her early works were lost in a house fire that occurred when she was a teenager. This devastating event changed her life, but if it hadn't happened "Unclipped Wings" might never have been created. This event was a catalyst which prompted her to begin writing poetry. Ramona earned a bachelors degree from DePauw University. Not just a poet, Ramona is an advocate and consultant who believes everyone has value, and anyone can make a difference. Her writing style is powerful and honest. it encourages us to reflect on who we are and who we want to be. If we don't like what we see, we are challenged to make a change. This empowering collection of poetry encourages us all to believe in ourselves and strive to reach our full potential.
