Harvest moon eyes is a pseudonym taken from a poem she wrote many years ago. Friends suggested she use the name as a reflection of her perspective and as a reminder not to lose sight of herself.Although she was raised within the Irish American community, she is of mix-blooded heritage. She has both personal and professional ties to the Native American community. For eight years she worked for a Native American school on a reservation in Southern California, although she considers Taos, New Mexico "home".Harvest moon eyes is a published author of poetry, fiction and free-lance.
